These bags are quite strong and a bit heavier than ones I’ve used in the past. I’m not crazy about the closure, as it’s a bit awkward to open and close, especially when you’re trying to identify the produce at the checkout. The weight will also add to the cost but it doesn’t seem to be significant. This is a nice assortment and I’m considering buying another set.

To be honest I snagged one of my mom’s produce bags when I was packing for a trip up to Big Sur to go beachcombing because these are perfect for that. Lightweight, they let the shells dry quickly and the sand falls out easily, and since they’re cotton and woven pretty securely they also dry fast and are sturdy. Just ordered and received a set of 5, and I’m excited to use them now that they’re actually MINE lol.

I bought more after losing some I'd had for years - couldn't get by without them!
